Roots in Federal Service
Originally incorporated in 1993, noodleStream.com® (formerly GBK/EHTA, Inc), got its start providing targeted, need-specific EHS and emergency response training services administrated through multiple federal training centers and academic institutes. For over 18 years we designed, developed and deployed technology-based and conventional training programs in the areas of occupational safety, environmental compliance, pollution-prevention, emergency response and WMD (CBRNE) to over 50 US Army, Air Force and Navy commands; the Environmental Protection Agency; the Department of Homeland Security; US Dept of Transportation; US Coast Guard, NATO, US State Department; as well as multiple overseas governments including those of Japan, Kuwait, and Malaysia.
Global Experience
Today, noodleStream.com®'s private-sector experience spans over 2,000 companies, many of which are members of the Fortune 500. In all, we have over two million student/contact hours of conventional training under our belt. We have certified over 5,000 hazardous materials technicians for national-level response agencies. Our training has been delivered in 18 countries and in seven languages. We believe this experience with conventional training is critical in developing our competency-based e-learning products. Our company holds accreditation with the International Association of Continuing Education and Training (IACET) and the US EPA External Provider Program, and our staff holds numerous individual certifications including OSHA's Outreach Training Program, the International Fire Service Accreditation Congress; and the Environmental Auditing Review Board (EARB).
