Forklift Operator Training - Safe Maintenance
According to OSHA regulations, if a powered industrial truck is found at any time damaged, defective, or in need of repair, it must immediately be taken out of service. This course will go over specific guidelines for preventative maintenance and repair of forklifts or other powered industrial trucks and covers the topics of forklift maintenance as specified in 1910.178(q) as well as the training requirements of workplace related topics specified by 1910.178(l)(3)(ii)(H). If you are taking this course you should already have a solid powered industrial truck safety foundation. This course will help you develop a deeper understanding of OSHA’s requirements for safe forklift operation and maintenance.
