Sexual Harassment and Discrimination for Employees
Approximately 15,000 sexual harassment cases are brought to the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) each year. According to the EEOC, the number of sexual harassment complaints filed by men has more than tripled in recent years. Currently, approximately 11 percent of claims involve men filing against female supervisors. Sexual harassment and discrimination are concerns for every business that has more than one employee.
Upon completion of this learning event, employees will demonstrate knowledge of sexual harassment and discrimination and what to do if they become a victim. Employees will learn to identify the three major types of sexual harassment and what constitutes discrimination, and the proper procedures for reporting a sexual harassment or discrimination incident. This course will assist the employer in meeting the EEOC Standards.
