Sexual Harassment Prevention for Managers
When sexual harassment does occur in the workplace, it can create many problems for the victim, co-workers, and the company. Many cases are reported annually throughout the United States that are handled and resolved by the company as an internal matter and then there are even more cases that go unreported creating a hostile work place and a loss in productivity. A 1999 survey by the Society for Human Resource Management states that, 62 percent of companies offer sexual harassment prevention training programs, and 97 percent have a written sexual harassment policy.
