Description

OSHA 29 CFR 1904 regulations state that if a company consists of 10 or more employees, you are required to collect accurate and timely information about the injuries and illnesses that take place at your business establishment. To do this, OSHA requires that you develop a method for your employees to report injuries and illnesses. This course is designed to give you the knowledge and skills you need to understand and comply with OSHA’s requirements for occupational injury and illness reporting and recordkeeping.

Upon completion of this online training course, the learner should be able to identify OSHAs general requirements for injury and illness reporting and recordkeeping, identify OSHA’s definitions relating to its reporting and recordkeeping regulations, identify OSHA’s required reporting forms, identify the types of incidents OSHA requires to be reported and, finally, identify OSHA’s recordkeeping requirements. OSHAs recordkeeping standard 29 CFR 1904.35 requires all employees be involved in the recordkeeping process. This will not cover company specific policies regarding recordkeeping, but it will give the Learner knowledge of what situations are to be reported and on what forms.
