Moving Safety
Many people will have to move at one point or another in their lives. Common accidents may occur such as back strains and sprains as well as slips, trips or falls. By being prepared, wearing the right clothes and having the correct equipment on hand your move might not be easy, but it can be much less unpleasant than it might be.
The course covers the general safety guidelines regarding moving. It includes proper lifting, stacking and fastening, and clothing to wear while moving. This course does not have any specific training requirements from OSHA, so it is included in the General Duty Clause. Upon completion of the learning event, the learner will have received information concerning the hazards of moving and their recommended safe work practices.
